Last winter Mark Abma, Xander Guldman, and Dennis Ranalter found themselves snowed in atop Donner Pass for what turned out to be one of the deepest storms of the year! Safe to say the crew took full advantage of the opportunity, skiing some of the deepest and driest powder snow that we have ever seen!

Song choices were genius. Cinematography and skiing were all time. Pow was truly historic.

this is the snow conditions that made whistler famous back in the 1969 to 73 huge snow-pack- cold temp. 0 f to 14 f. December to march, no crowds powder stayed untracked as snow/spindrift filled previous runs . still have my old 1969 seasons pass as a kid. this video brought back those memories🤗

One epic video. Can you imagine those perfect conditions!?! Pro skiers, lift ops, ski patrol, a cook and a freaking bartender bro!! Are you kidding me....that is so epic!!! This videos pulled emotions. It gave you chills as an avid skier/boarder is always wanted in that kind of condition. And I've been watching ski videos 30 years bro. 🔥

Gotta go...it's starting again. 🤙🏼 #SendIt

I skied Whistler for the first time in 1969. Over the years, as I made my way through Pre-Med, Medicine, etc...I skied in all sorts of places. But in my heart Whistler was ALWAYS my home ski site. At some point I had a terrible right tib/fib fracture followed by a disastrous reset...but after hospital discharge I kept going and I didn't stop skiing until I met my the woman who became my wife and mother to my children, at which point it stopped. And then fatherhood and medical practice took over. No regrets.

My wife and I live in a wonderful house right above Point Holmes - mountain, ocean views and a shared passion for gardening. We're in our early-70's. Life couldn't be better. Deb - I love you. Jake and Anya - I love you...and being moved to tears of gratitude daily is a great way to live.

22-23 The Cold River year. I kept getting ready to tell my brother in Tahoe about the awesome season Vail was having, then I'd check the weather history and be like: "Well duh, they got first hit." ... River came this winter to CO again, but it was late and warm. So many tourists breaking things, I even lost a removable pole strap :(
