I was on edge waiting for an AC announcement the whole Direct. Got hyped with Isabelle, then got deflated when it turned out to be Smash. Nook came on, got excited again, but suspected that maybe it was just Nook getting into Smash as well. But then, well... I started chanting 'Yes!' as I looked at the logo.

All this time Tom Nook was plotting, planning. With Isabelle and the Mayor distracted by Smash Bros, Tom will finally rise up and take over the towns. No one can stand in his way.

I hope they pay just as much attention to the soundtrack in this game compared to the other games, because honestly that was one of the key things that made animal crossing so fun and immersive, the amazing music for every possible scenario and every hour of the clock.
