This one touched me so deeply. The hospice in-home nurse care was So wonderful for my Dad. I was taking care of him by myself and they stepped in. I was able to go back to work and pay the mortgage, gas, light and for his extra pain meds. They kept me informed of everything. What a Blessing. Then my brothers showed up so I didn't have to sleep on the couch every night, because Dad would try to get up and find me when he saw he was alone. It was a bittersweet time. Dad chose to be with his baby girl to leave this earth. It was an honor. He watched me come in to the world, I held his hand and and watched him exit. The hardest thing I've ever done.

This reminds of my life.. living with a elderly lady made sure she had everything in order even though she worked she came home to a clean home hot cooked meals everyday for 5 and half years.. Her son's didn't care or come around only when they wanted something!! It's me that was her confidant like sisters - one day she pushed me out of her life and she's alone.. I'm glad this caretaker is being appreciated for her kind heart and good intentions..
