It could also be that the wrap he has is not long enough to include the thumb, I think that was less than 108 in. hand wrapping depends on the person and the wrap.

Can't stop but notice how much faster Chael is than Shogun and his exercises were alot more cardio based than Shogun's as well. Shogun wins by 1st round TKO or Sonnen by 4th round submission or UD.
