I have Venus in Taurus IN my 2nd house. I've always been quite hopeless with money, even though my parents were very good at managing their finances - and yes, my dad worked in banks in his younger days! I have had more than a few riches to rags moments, mostly due to wanting to share my prosperity with loved ones, to my own eventual detriment. Hopefully the next time I'm cashed up I won't be flinging it at the guy who's making my heart flutter at the time 😁

Venus in Taurus in 2nd house. No the folks that raised me didn’t have money issues. My parents weren’t around like that but they for sure had money issues. Me personally. I like nice things. I work hard to make sure my kids are taken care of and my self worth isn’t tied to money. I don’t care to brag about what I have nor do I feel the need to rack up the things for the hell of it. I believe in making sure my family is ok and creating a legacy

Crazy accurate, my mother was an incredible cook who is well known through family and friends as this is her way of sharing her love. Food played a very prominent role throughout my childhood because of her talent cooking for big family events. She was also a banker in her younger years graduating from economics at university and she became an economics teacher! Financially my father came from nothing but became financially secure as he grew older. He was very tight with money when I lived with him as a teen. I would not get pocket money because he believed I should work.. so my first job was when I was 13 while studying at high school. I worked every weekend and holiday while studying school and so its been a great lesson but also a tough road, because I wasn't given much. It would go as far as I couldn't even ask for new underwear which I had for years and I had holes in them, I slept on an old wire bed with a sleeping bag 😅 It was very humbling and I know not as bad as many youth out there that live in abusive homes or on the streets, so I am very grateful for my experiences. I always appreciate the quality things and have had many lessons in heart break surrounding this "devotion" to the "ride or die" philosophy of true love fantasy for a taurus. It is a blessing because I have experienced love at first sight encounters which are amazing, however that wanting to stay even when it is not right for either partners has been the hardest lessons for me to learn in love. I have absolute highs and devastating lows in love. Taurus in venus love with all our heart, soul and minds.

Wow. Spot on. Taurus is cusping my second house. I also have Venus in Taurus (in the second house). To give you more info on self-worth, my Venus is opposite Pluto...so unfortunately, I tend to find my self-worth in other people. It’s like I need external validation that I’m all good. Am I this enough, am I that enough? My perception of myself can get really warped, and I get trapped inside a reality that probably isn’t even real. It sucks, to say the least! So I end up trying to control myself in a way that is pleasing to everybody else. It’s exhausting and I’m learning (slowly but surely) not to do that. My husband is incredibly helpful with this, so I’m thankful for that.

OMG! everything you said is me to a T! My dad was a chef and mom is a stay at home mom - they are divorced. Money issues constantly!! I am tired of hearing about money money money!! Ugh! I have my own financial difficulties as I comment right now with rent and bills of my own!! I have and still always share what I have with others and donate lots as well too. Men I have dated took it all as well. I cant hardly support myself so how can I take care of others. but I do try.
