How to Create a Character Sprite Sheet

In this video we will be making a 4 direction character walk-cycle and then exporting that as a sprite sheet. We will learn the very basics of character animation using my favorite pixel art program: Aseprite.

You do not have to upscale image. You can resize object in ex. Unity and change pixel interpolation on the texture.

The latest aesprite doesnt have the "Save copy as" option anymore, does anyone know how to blow up the sprite sheet before exporting? I still want it to be 16x16 or 32x32 I think?

What if I want to make a complex character like a SNK or Capcom fighter should I make the arms and legs on a separate layer to avoid much redrawing of the body on various frames?
