If the 1975 doesn't exist then this is actually pretty good and the vocal here is really impressive. It just because comparing to the original, this is not campy enough, not sexual enough and not bold enough, they just played it too safe

The oddest part for me was Laverne Cox as Frank. Frank was always portrayed as a man’s man but wears women’s underwear. Idk, to me there is a difference between a transvestite and and transsexual. I like Laverne, but I also feel being on a Rocky horror cast has made me look at this version with a more critical eye.

People are congratulating the actor playing Brad...he has a great voice and is veryyy attractive...but the way he delivers the lines takes all the meaning away.

There are some movies you just can't really remake. This is one of them. It just doesn't work. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a film that deserves to stand on it's own. Even today with the new generation it is still winning new fans all over the world. 1975 Rocky Horror Picture is the real Picture Show. Accept no imitations.

I think the reason why there's so many criticisms about this version is that the film version was so sexual and confronted the audience a lot. It was bold. And was so many decades ago. So when I heard there was a TV special I was kinda scared cuz I knew the they wouldn't do it as much aggressive as they should. It's not bad, is just not what they fans are used to.

I don't understand why the heels and corset where too sexual for Columbia and Rocky but it was ok for Janet and Brad. I really like their costumes, but why only them? Is not like their having too much issues to dress a guy in a corset and heels. But I really like the vocals from them and I like the choreo from Rocky, Brad and Janet. This version has some good things.
