Buffet & lynch: only stick to companies you can relate to. If you work in the restaurant industry: McDonalds, Donken Donuts, Starbucks are you pick. You're in automobile industry: Ford, GM, Tesla, FCA are you field of choice. Don't buy 15 or more stocks.... Maximum 10. More than enough.

buy consistently and don't let your emotions get the best of you. My portfolio has dropped by 30% and I just keep buying. In a year or two it will bounce back. In 5-10 years it will increase a lot. It may even double.

Since the dotcom bubble interest rates have been super low combined with federal government printing money we have not had a capitalist economy. As soon as the government printed money and sent checks to everybody people spent money on consumer goods problem with that is it creates a shortage of stuff that already a scarce resource. Inflation doesn’t go back down because employers can’t walk back on higher wages. The federal reserve is trapped they can’t print any more money because fixed income and savers will get wiped out due to inflation but they can’t raise rates because the repayment of 30 trillion in debt is too much for the u.s government to repay u.s treasury holders . That is the simple explanation of what’s going on right now. Listen to Peter Schiff for more info
