My art teacher has Bell's Palsy. They were having a bout of it and sat everyone down and explained "yeah, my face looks off, it looks like I'm having a stroke, it's not a stroke --- but I'm going to go over all the stroke symptoms as a refresher just so you can tell the difference should the need arise." And they did! For high schoolers everyone was listening really well, I think they all kind of got the memo that this was a really important thing to the teacher and that the atmosphere was not inclined to side conversations

I got Bell's palsy out of the blue about 10 years ago. No one knew what caused it. I still have a very slight droop in the affected side. I couldn't eat, drink, or speak right and the nerve pain was horrible.

This one hits a bit more personal when they say post partum care failed many women. After my brother was born via C-section, my mom felt off, but everyone said she was crazy. 18 years later, it was discovered she was slowly bleeding to death every month during her cycles. She's fine now, but it shouldn't have taken so long for someone to take her seriously.

I’ve had Bell’s Palsy 3 times, and each time sucked more than the last. Part of my face is still a little bit wonky on one side from the last time, but it isn’t too noticeable unless you’re looking for it.

There is no American post-partum care! They'd kick your ass out of the hospital hours after the birth if it wasn't illegal!
