comprehensive, brief and accurate review of a very colorful and kaleidoscopic art period. Just perfect; and thank you.

I wonder if any establishments in the Old West California heard these beautiful pieces.

It’s so enlightening and elucidating to hear you talk about musicology in this way - relating to time, place, and people. Thanks for all these videos!

Rubato is my thing. I believe we play music to express our emotion and not to play mechanically. But i really love Beethoven, though.

Found your channel recently, and I love it. Amateur player/adorer of piano, and I love learning about all of this. You're a great teacher!

Thanks for nerding out in music! I love it! I'm a montessori music teacher and I've used your "women composers" video for women's history month! Very informative and well presented. :) Thank you! -Justine

You seem so excited talking about music history that it makes me wanna learn more and more! And, actually, I was not even fond of this topic before watching this video... Thanks for sharing your enthusiasm as well as the knowledge!

Enjoyed the video. One thing: Wagner isn’t pronounced Wag-ner like the dog wags its tail but instead, because he is German, would be pronounced Vahg-ner.

Actually when Schubert was alive, during the era no one cared about him, he became famous after he died.😕
