[Jess O’Reilly]
My names Jess O'Reilly, and I'm the Cricket Operations Specialist at Cricket Australia, and the tournament director, here at the Commonwealth Bank International Cricket Inclusion Series.
[Cricketer one]
Inclusion in sport is really important, I suppose it's a part of that mateship that's ingrained in Aussie culture as well, 'nobody's left behind', the team is just always welcoming and it's a really tight knit community.
[Cricketer two]
It's so important for organisation like Cricket Australia to be involving all 3 teams that are here today.
We feel like we're on par with everybody else, deaf, blind, id, we feel like we're just part of the mainstream.
[Coach]
The International Inclusion Series is a fantastic event to bring lots of people together that get a really good go and are included.
[Cricketer three]
Yeah, it's nearly been 4 years and it's good to see the group again and to play cricket, and to compete for the Ashes.
[Jess O’Reilly]
There's heaps of opportunities with in each of our states to get involved in cricket, whether it's at an entry level, or you're already playing some cricket and want to get involved in a state team, get in touch with your state cricketing body and get involved.
[Cricketer two]
We appreciate Cricket Australia for what they've done and organising such a tournament for us.
We do feel like we're equal, so thank you.
[Blind cricket team]
Yeah! (clapping and cheering)
