I have done this same thing many times but I already have all the fabrication tools. Don't get discourage by haters that have no confidence in their fab skills. I too like many jeepers fab as many parts as i can to save $$$. Great Job!!!

nothing wrong with the way you did them just the cost to build them from dom, tube inserts, and joints would have been 180 a piece but that a double adjustable one.

Holy cow! The push back you got on this is incredible and I assume it will only get worse. I love the comment about the "jury-rigged structurally unsound product." Then he goes into talking about how metal reacts to heat like every link arm ever made wasn't welded the exact same way.

Please remember this, people that try to put you down claiming you wasted time and what you did is dangerous can't do what you do. That is a grown person acting like a child. We all teased the girl we liked on the playground in elementary school, some just never grew up I guess.

There's not many feelings better than being self sufficient. The only way it is better is when you save money doing it.
