Katherine Steele (age 16) performs "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" at the 2nd Annual Jerry Herman High School Musical Theatre Awards at The Pantages Theatre in Hollywood.

Katherine won 2nd Place in the Best Leading Actress category for her portrayal of "Christine Daae" in Agoura High School's production of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA directed by former Raoul, Raymond Saar.

Wow! My dream part has been Christine since I was like 6, we have really similar voices and I don't know if you have the struggle of trying to sing the more "belty " musicals like grease and hairspray but I've always been fitted to phantom, les mis and west side like classical musicals! It's so refreshing being able to find people who sing like you (in a classical way) and not a belty way! I just sang this song for my audition for a theatre school in England and got in! You sound amazing in this and you hold yourself so well! I would love to have a chat about all this with you!! ❤️❤️
