Other commenters have already expressed all the thoughts I had upon listening to this, but I'll add mine for the algorithm: The Wanderer sounds great with a string quartet!! I didn't recognize the name of the piece, so was pleasantly surprised when I heard the familiar opening bars. It seems you are releasing a batch of piano + string pieces and I am very much looking forward to hearing the whole collection, whether they be new compositions or new arrangements. Simply beautiful!

If you remember what I said a few years ago about composing a "story". This is a great way. Little by little until everything is correct. Now you just need to come up with a story-line for the music. As an example, the "Wanderer" goes along the "Path in the Woods" until stopping to attract some cows, then goes to the city to ride the "Carosel". Something like that.

Pure Alchemy!👏 Dearest Luke, you are the tree that keeps giving. The strings have added so much richness, layers and depth to the music. Listening to it I am transported into an Ancient Pine Forest.
Peace and stillness descend on me in this forest. I tread lightly, beneath me, a bed of pine needles speaks of the regenerative life cycle of the trees. Sweet scent of pine pervades the forest, a gift from the trees for the reverence I have shown them. Eyes shut; I place my hand on a tree trunk allowing my fingers to sense the rough texture of the bark. Every bump, line, and crevice my fingers trace, tells the story of the tree. Now I hear running water, promising to slake my thirst and cool my brow. I follow the sound, meandering through the forest and come to a clearing. There a stream of pristine clear waters flow, gurgling, bubbling over rocks, stones and pebbles smoothed by the water and time. Moss cling to rocks like a green skin. I drink from the stream and leave, for the trees are calling me. As I walk, pine needles drift silently down. Up in the canopy, points of light penetrate, dazzling sparkling jewels of sunshine. The summer breeze arrives and the branches wave and crackle, pine needles flutter like fingers playing scales and arpeggios on a keyboard. For the wind their mistress has arrived. She moves swiftly through the trees singing ancient love songs of the forest. And the trees sigh with pleasure and whisper prayers of thanks to their mistress the wind.
