How to flash custrom Recovery TWRP and Root Lenovo Vibe P1 using QFIL method

Hi Guys... Thanks for watching my previous video related to how to flash stock rom using ADB method and now in this video i am going to demonstrate how to flash custom recovery i.e. TWRP using QFIL method and root your LENOVO VIBE P1. Please comment, like and share this video and also suggest or request any new demonstration or guides you may like.

Hey guys watch this video and ensure your bootloader in unloked before you proceed. With a locked bootloader you cannot replace stock recovery.

After you download this zip file extract it into the folder where adb and fastboot exe are present. This zip file has two files one is batch executable file and other is twrp recovery. Once you extract run the batch file and wait for display on twrp splash screen on your phone. Once you booot in to the twrp just install superSu to get root access.
Please test this zip and let me know if this works for you. I could not check its serviceability.

The QFIL supposed to Reset (Reboot) the phone, in case it doesn't, enable the option in QFIL Configuration -> Firehose Configuration in QFIL 2.0.0.2 (2.7 - 425). Then press both Volume Up & Down key simultaneously when the phone reboots. This should boot to TWRP Recovery, otherwise the phone will reboot and the OS restore the stock recovery.

After the complete download the phone did not restart. So I restarted my device manually but still the recovery is stock only. Did I miss something?

I m using vibe p1turbo ....and I did the same process, which u shown in this video ....and I didn't see any custom recovery page, eventhough I do it again, it simply reboot again and again ....what i do for ubl and set twrp recovery ....pls give a complete guide clearly

hey this Method is not working, also you have not shown the phone booting to twrp in the video . after doing the above process it reboots normal or gets stuck at Lenovo Logo

Hi, I have wiped my P1 with TWRP. Now no os is installed. But unable to flash through QFIL. Error msg

hey buddy can you give files for micomax a111 to work on QFIL....In my micromax it shows encryption unsuccessful and bricked recovery(cwm recovery is not coming) but when i plug it in PC the device is showing in QFIL...So i want that all file used in qfil for you help me plz...any rom and any recovery that could be loaded in MMX

I downloaded the same version as yours (QFIL 1.0.0.2) as earlier I was using QFIL 1.0.0.3. I didn't release the up button as per your instructions but it simply restarts and the recovery is still stock. Any help on above is much appreciated.
