Great job picking that American. I think you would have been able to pick it without seeing the key. Even looking at the key doesn't help me pick a lock most of the time. They can be tricky, & 3 zero lifts are very tricky.

Thanks for sharing this.I am just starting out and I find that reading the key helps me in learning to feel how much I have to lift.
I probably shouldn't admit this but I also put dots on my picks to show where the pins are.😁

Ahh nice, I struggle with over setting pins all the time. That lock definitely would have beaten me. I must remember to look at the key more.. when I have a key. Many of my locks are missing them.Thanks man, always very educational :)
