In this series I will walk you through how to 3D print a CS:GO C4 game prop, including download links for all the 3D files as well as the full source code for the Arduino software that makes it work.

Make one as a desk toy, make one as a gift for a friend, or use it for a "defuse the bomb" style game at your Airsoft Club.

Today we're talking about the electronics and wiring. I'll show you how to make the circuit board that is central to the design, and also some handy tips about the various electronic components that power the device.

This is really awesome. I stumbled on it because I wanted to make one for using in Airsoft games for Terrorist vs Counter Terrorist type game scenarios. I really just need it to have a really bright LED that flashes and the feeling sound but the arm and disarm samples you did are really cool. I’d need to find a way to make it louder. Maybe find a way to use a small desktop speaker in it so the sound output is stronger without distorting.

Alternative idea for the chassis instead of 3D printing is to get the metal box used for housing the circuit of a guitar pedal.

A great one to use that’s strong but light would be the box for an Electro-Harmonix Big Muff. You can find a broken one and fit it or look online for Big Muff Pedal chassis. You can buy them online for use of building your own guitar pedals. They’re pretty light and built to be stomped on so, could be a cool idea.

So that small speaker can be directly powered by arduino without an amp? What power does it have? I have 3 speakers that look just like the one in the video and nothing is written on them.

Great project. But what did you do with the 16th LCD Pin? It is soldered to the LCD display but is not mentioned in the wiring schedule. Does it simply connect to the circuit board ground?

Is it possible to remove the extra components (RTC and Mp3 player) to make a barebones bomb with the speaker just beeping? I would love to make something like this but to the style of R6 Siege
