The Eldar were released between the Imperial Guard and Emperors Children, who both got battle forces, and I was personally ready to drop money for an Eldar Battleforce, too. I'm happy we got a range update 30 years in the making, but....fuck, we can't catch a break.

I'm almost positive War Walkers are coming in squads of 2 now, maybe more. Without Fate Dice, and Battle Host re-rolls in most detachments, they're just two big guns that die easy for 110 points. That bites, so they're going to cut points costs and stick them in squads.

Karandras and Dire Avengers both missing, five models costing £40, no battleforce box for a discount? Plus all of the super heavy tanks and such being removed and no sign of a Yriel or Illic update, with it not being surprising if GW were to remove them too?

This is the most GW way of approaching a big Eldar refresh :(

Calling it now, we are going to get an Aeldari Battleforce, but we are also going to be getting it revealed alongside a new Box Set. We are going to see Aeldari vs EC, Aeldari are going to get a Phoenix Lord and some of the new Aspect Warriors whilst EC is going to get Lucius, some more noise marines, and other models to fill out what you wouldn't have in the battleforce.

My money is also on that the EC half of this box, plus the Battleforce, plus Fulgrim would be incredibly close to 2000pts. Likely about 700, 850, 425 if I had to guess. When we end up hearing about the "The Fall of Slaanesh" boxset, I called it first.

It's absurd that Imperial Agents gets 3 army launch boxes, CSM got 2 and Aeldari couldn't even get 1.

Lots of confused people in the comments. Battleforce = old units in a discount box. Army box = new units with a new codex and new data cards. They are not interchangeable
