I was unaware that babish paywalled his recipes.... I am ***not*** surprised though.
When he first started out he had a Twitch channel. We watched him live. He was ***very*** interactive and a number of folks subscribed, gave him bits etc etc etc. Within a couple of months he made a deal with yooootooobs and stopped showing up for his ***ALREADY SCHEDULED STREAMS*** with zero explanation. He never addressed this even once. He simply abandoned those who helped start his journey the very instant big money was thrown at him. That soured the parasocial ***AND*** existing ***BUSINESS*** relationship from the get-go and I think was a real opener into who and what he actually had for "character". Many followed him to the toob but we never forgot.... he was just awaiting another opportunity to be ... one of "those" sorts of persons.
So no... this surprises me not one whit....

Your book reminds me of the book: The truth about food from Jill Fullerton-Smith. This book would be a great addition to that book. Is it international available? Sometimes stuff is not shipped to the Netherlands. As an chemist i love how deconstructing your videos are.
