I'm so ready to press the button and buy this TV. I'm planning to use it as my monitor paired with the next gen graphics cards. I'm also planning to get a sonos beam soundbar with atmos to enhance the sound experience. The only problem in all of this is my wife, she's going to kill me if she finds out I'm spending 1

I got the 48" LG C1 a couple weeks ago and am still floored every time I turn it on. The $1100 pricetag is deceptive because this thing punches way above its price class.
The only complaint I have is something that can be fixed within minutes: Out-of-box SDR color calibration wasn't great, but a few minutes of tweaking and it's now as accurate as the monitor I use for photo editing (I recommend RTINGS calibration guide as a starting point).

LG C1 does NOT have a 5 year warranty from LG standard. Only the Gallery Series G1 has the 5 year warranty.

Do you have any warranty information regarding burn-in on the new 42" C2 to be released? I thought I read something somewhere but can't find it. I see the G models will have the 5 year that doesn't look reassuring based on an article I read. Anyways, trying to find info on the C2. Thanks

I picked up the LG CX last year for boxing day as my first OLED and it's been amazing! Took a good 10 years before I decided to give up on my old sony.

Im still trying to decide between the qn90A and this TV. Strictly 120hz gaming, and that response time/contrast is whats doing it for me. but i feel like samsung's overall gaming settings/overlay panel is just more designed for a gamer. opinions?

I'm finding my LG c1 OLED quiet grainy and washed out. Very full and when in vivid mode everything looks eloominated like almost glow in the dark colours. Maybe there's about of pr going on
