Perfect example of working on what's in your control (skills) and not focusing on what's out of your control (height). Respect!

I'm curious about stop lights as well, I'm guessing he just hops off and stands next to the bike until the light changes.

More skill in this little guy than on 90% of the keyboard warriors. Respect.

What you lack in height you make up for in skill, well done sir!

That right there is the most bad-ass thing I've seen on youtube in a while.

Respect man. I'm 5' 6" and have a tiny inseam (28/29") and struggle with uneven roads on my SV650, I doubt I'd ever be able to ride a bike as tall as that like you do!

It reminds me my younger days when i used to ride my father's cycle like that...

That's the GSA (GS Adventure) with a 890 (35 inch seat height) I'm the same height 5'5"and can barely tiptoe with a 32 inch seat height. Trick riding on flat asphalt aside you have to be able to safely control your bike at every stop. It's a heavy bike with a monster 33 litre gas tank that rides high. Offroad would magnify the control issues 100x. The shorter GS model starts at 850mm, but has a factory frame lowering option that can get the seat down to 790mm/31". Ride safe.

Being 6ft 3inch tall I take it for granted that I can flat foot the ground on a lot of bikes, but then I cant ride sports bikes as my legs get cramp trying to get my feet on the pegs, so being shorter rider has its benefits, you're one skilled and confident rider for sure, cool vid. Regards, Paul.

Amazing skills!

I'm 5'2" and a proud owner of a Suzuki DL650 and although I can ride it normally, your technique could've saved me from dumping it a few times. Would you mind sharing some tips on how to learn this? Did you learn it on the GS or a smaller bike at first?

The key here is, "Obviously an experience short rider." Showing advanced technique no doubt. I would love to watch this guy negotiate the streets of San Francisco with all the hills, soft shoulders stops, and parking bikes perpendicular to the hillside! I had to figure all that out on my own. The learning process was scary when faced in real time without knowledge on what to do and had to figure it out at that moment. I had to run different scenarios through my mind and figure all of them out before riding in the city on a tall bike. Someone like him doing a city ride video with all of those components as a short rider would really help new short riders on tall bikes. The other challenge is taking the GS off road loaded up. For any sized rider that would be a challenge especially on sand or mud! I would think that would certainly separate the men from the boys. Great video!

This reminded me of Gaston Rahier so I searched for him on YouTube and spent half an hour watching videos on him.

That was as impressive as fuck I just got my first GSA today and at 6'1" still looked like Bambi trying to wheel it around.

I'm sure this guy's a legend on sportsbike... Something that matches his ergonomics more. You have my respect. Vishal
