Billies talking about Aurora & Sufjan is just so incredible to me. I remember finding both songs ‘Runaway’ & ‘fourth of July’ when I was younger and the immediate feelings emotions outpouring out of me when I first heard them. When I first heard Billie’s music, Especially the song ‘lovely’ it was the exact same feeling I got when I first listened to Aurora & Sufjan. Those 3 artists are still on my on repeat playlists, and they are never going anywhere. They are the odes to my younger self and to my older self❤

My mum is sick right now, and I'm happy that her new album is out... I am scared and worrying alot.. I'm just happy that I could be alone and listen to her new album, like all day long to make me somehow feel ok.

i could listen to billie talking about everything that is between the bottom of the ocean to the very top of the sky, and still not get tired of listening to her. and that, my friends, is what love feels like

I'm in my 50s, and I have a few friends my age who just LOVE Aurora (and we've been listening to her for years); she is profoundly, uniquely talented, and her work is on another level. And for Billie to mention Julia (one of John Lennon's most beautiful, vulnerable, heartbreaking compositions) just underscores why we love her, and why she's a magical combination of an old soul with a young spirit. Well done.

Fourth of July is such a touching song. I found it in July 2022 when my close friend passed away. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

She is a force to be reckoned with. I truly look forward to hearing her do all her hearts desires in music. She and her brother are brilliant.

"HIT ME HARD AND SOFT" IS THE BEST ALBUM ON THE PLANET

Her knowledge of production and whole inspiration is amazing. how she is inspired by other artists and very old musicianists is rewarding. She is a real artist that had so much growth in her music career in front of the world, and it's amazing how anyone can watch her and be inspired of her work and learn experiences. I love her and respect her vulnerability.

This album made me fall in love with Billies music and she helped me to come out of a really dark place mentally, listening to Billie talk about her struggles in her music and interviews made me realise that thoughts and parts of my life that I thought were specific to me were shared, shared with Billie. I finally had someone I could relate to. Her music created an emotional outlet for me unlike any artist has ever done to me. I realised I’m not alone.
