This is so cool! I personally use proton drive for storing important files such as my password files for keepassXC. This is very good though as I wouldn't use google drive for storing anything sentive as they go through everything you upload so I would upload documents to it that I want GPT to assess. This reminds me of Gemini where it can assess your google drive. My only question is how good is this? I'd just attach the files so I think this is more for convenience than anything else. nice seeing your content on my feed again I can't wait to see more <3

I dont understand why OpenAI would connect to it. I always could upload PDFs manually. What would change, when they have access? Not sure about this update

I literally had to filter YouTube to "Today" under Upload Date and "Upload Date" under Sort By in order to find this video when I searched for connecting google drive to ChatGPT. YouTube is wild for not showing this video in the results during my first attempts.

Totally useless! I want it to use my FOLDERS!!! All I can do is to share a FILE from my google drive. I want the AI to understand all my folders and all the files inside those folders. :<

Won't connect my drives to any Ai, not even on Microsoft's Ai PC recorder (to access and retrieve all data on PC). Not necessary. It's still in its infancy. Don't trust.

Useless, lol, I don't understand what the difference is between this and attaching a file in general. I guess if I didn't have my onedrive or googledrive synced locally it is helpful, but otherwise this is just saving a click between choosing folder locations I guess? LAME

I'm pretty sure what we all want is to give ChatGPT access to our entire OneDrive/Google Drive so it can derive insights from all of our data.
