BIGGEST Wave Kite Surfed by Nuno Figueiredo at Nazare - Hard Rock version

The day that Rodrigo Koxa set a Guinness World Record where he rode the biggest wave ever surfed at 24.38 meters(80 foot) at Nazare. As the day progressed the wind came up where kite surfer Nuno Figueiredo also achieved a Guinness World Record, kiting a 19 meters (63 feet).

Yea maybe so ethereal Brian Eno music but the abrasive speed metal does mesh with this phenomenal display of Mother Nature's power and man bravely chasing bliss

Even though he was only "riding around" in the waves, much respect for this guy! So many variables and unknowns. One mishap could be catastrophic. It would likely take years to dial this place in perfectly on a kite. Needs swell, the right wind direction and speed, good surface conditions, and huge balls. All of which are in short supply at this location.

Anyone out there on a day like that got huge balls, but honestly I don't see the point in kitesurfing a wave like that. The wind is pulling him in one direction but the wave wants him to go down the face. Watching this I am thinking: "Let go of the kite and commit to the wave!"
