I’m from Tacoma WA like him and he’s always in the gym, he played in our YMCA league and I got the opportunity to guard him pretty much the whole game. I truly don’t think people understand how much better these guys are lmfao

His pace was always so beautiful to watch. Always had defenders guessing. Jalen Brunson is the best these days at it but he was so nice.

He can become a world class trainer one day

He's one of those guards that makes it difficult to predict what he's gonna do. Some players like this were D Wade. Today it's Lamelo, Kyrie, Haliburton. IT should be playing full-time on a roster.

Great breakdown. Will never forget that miraculous run he had with the Celts.

He used that hang dribble and carry to his advantage better than any PG in the last 10 years. Never knew what he was going to do

Because of his size he’s more skilled than then any average NBA player imo

It’s his cadence or as Baron Davis calls it, his “bop”. Every skilled ball handler has their own rhythm that they’ve perfected from just working on their craft. I love how it’s become monetized these days.

He got such great pacing because he know what he can do, when you know you can score almost anytime you pace and make it easy on yourself, usually some unconfident players rush and move one speed, coming back from an Achilles tear I went through this and couldn’t score at all, shot was horrible

IT plays with great pace and his control is unmatched.

He's ability to shoot when you least expect it is remarkable. This was how he would get off all of his shots. And he was arguably the shortest player to drive to the basket and finish layups. At his height, it's incredible how he was able to get in the paint. He was a crafty player.

The Two foot lift is also for explosion, two foot takeoffs, and footwork timing. When you do it, it's great for hesitation and when you do the two foot lift and explode pass the defenders lead foot, get yiur shoulders pass them, its over they cant guard you. John wall does this too.

“The gospel is that I am so sinful that Jesus had to die for me, yet so loved and valued that Jesus was glad to die for me. This leads to deep humility and deep confidence at the same time. I can’t feel superior to anyone, and yet I have nothing to prove to anyone.”
- Tim Keller
