Make your own map for 7DTD (a19) | KingGen Part 1 | 7 Days To Die
We're looking at how to make your own map for 7 Days to Die using some free software called KingGen. The software is a random world generator for 7dtd but it has some useful features for customising the maps to how you would like them. Some advanced features allow you to import your own map and draw biomes and cities where you would like them.
In part 1 we'll look at the basic features that allow us to randomly generate a map but with specific biomes, cities of different sizes and increasing the number of traders. You'll see how to import the map into the game and we'll test one of the maps out in the game.

Thank you so much for this! I'm new to PC having come from console. I consider myself lucky when I was able to hook it up, download Steam and actually get the game running. Was scared to try anything outside of vanilla, but you made real easy. Made my first map with ease and playing it now.

This looks fantastic. I do have a question however. I usually play multiplayer games where I host. Will this work where my friends just join me through Steam or do they need to download something extra? What about with Compo added? What would need to happen to make that work? If you could help with these questions that would be great. I'm really looking forward to trying this out!

if you are having issues be sure to give the app admin when you open it or it wont do anything when you go to gen a world it will say access denied

Does this still work with A20? I'm wanting to create a Wastelands only make with Desert scattered in but Not figuring out how to with the in game generation.
