Day 1 on Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady!

🗓️ Here’s what day 1 looks like:⁣
⁣
-We boarded our 6 night sailing to the Western Caribbean out of Miami⁣
⁣
-As part of the “Sailing Club” (the rewards program they recently rolled out for sailors who’ve sailed.. I lost track.. 5? 6 times? a lot…) you enter through a special area that skips the line and allows for early boarding⁣
⁣
-Once on board we sign up for all shows, entertainment, and workouts (dinners were booked 45 days ago when the window opened) and then we knock out the 5-8 minute ish process for mustering. They make it easier than any of other (many) cruise lines I’ve been on.⁣
⁣
-Champane time is next at my fave bar (the champagne bar) Sip. You can get glasses of Chandon at $11, Moet at $21 and even Dom is served by the glass (at $55). I’ve been averaging 4-6 glasses of Moet a day and thanks to the way I booked with my booooooiii JC, I ain’t payin for annnny of it. -Snack time at The Dock for small Mediterranean tapas (skewers of shrimp, grilled octopus, chicken and beef)⁣
⁣
-Arcade for air hockey and pac-man (it’s all free btw)⁣
⁣
-Then bon voyage!! Bubbles at the sail away party⁣
⁣
-An italian dinner at Extra Virgin with beef tartare and sea bass, fresh gnocchi and beef cheeks⁣
⁣
-Entertainment with @themissbehaveshow it’s like a game show .. kinda sorta ⁣
⁣
-End the night with a PJ party under the stars (and cookies on the dance floor)⁣
