This game is SO close to being accessible to dedicated fans who just have busy lives! I think that's the reason there's been such backlash. Thank you for amplifying our voices so they can be heard! I live in a less populated area with no regular group hunting opportunities. Even though I go out a few nights a week to walk and grind it would take me weeks to get the gem shards to upgrade my weapons and armor. Dimensional links made a huge difference letting me get access to gem shards so I could keep up with events in game. Now that it's nerfed I find my motivation waning.

Pain points:
1. More chances for Zenny please
Ex: every HR raise, add zenny, friends quest instead of the zenny for only 1st time completing adding everytime, metals accomplished add zenny

2. Have a bigger map clearance
Ex: can slide your map to 2km radius even if your can’t see the monsters available being able to know which direction is what type like swamp, dessert or forest would help me more to go outside to hunt

3. More opportunities to earn knives even if that means buying
The easier the access to knives means the more people will use instead of only for rare monsters rare drops

Hopefully this reaches you Zack and then to Niantic🥹

HR 139. I would like to hunt with my online friends. It would be great if you got 3 special paintballs a day that let you hunt with your online friends.

Also would be nice to dismantle weapons/armor to get back 50% of the resources used.

Pain points I'm HR 171.
1. Dual blades for status weapons should be a thing.
2. Ability to downgrade unused weapons for mats under grade 6
3. Ability to add friends from HATs

HR 161

1. excess farming material (converting to zenny doesn't seem motivating). use them in crafting (food buffs, traps, flash bugs) as consumables once off items would help inventory management, more ways to deal with monsters and motivation to farm monsters that you don't really need their parts
2. improved farming of unique monsters - zinogre, deviljho, kushala outside of event rotations and hats - just add it as a option for friends quest reward
3. better options to experiment on new weapons at higher levels. Its pretty much a heavy investment to farm a whole gear set + elemental weapon to even test out new weapons to see if you would like it. downtier of weapons... a training space....

I'm glad you'd made this video! Not only does it mirrors how I feel about this change on DL! It's also something Niantic need to be aware of how much of a negative impact it has on the player base 😢.

I'm just glad you're still making content, you're one of the few I really enjoy watching and learnt so much about the game as a new player 😊

HR 49 - relatively new having only started a few weeks ago
1. Accessibility of gatherable resources - a resource node can be farmed ~ once per 3 hours; bone piles might give me 1-3 small bones. Rarity 8 weapons require 40-50 small bones per upgrade. So you need ~25 bone piles for a single upgrade. Not to mention armors taking 5-20 occasionally too. Don't know if I just crafted too many gears/weapons that require them but even after buying all of the small bone packs, I'm super starved of these. Wish there were events like surges that increase the number of resources gathered or more singe-item spawns. Perhaps an extension of the monster tracks where you send palicos to fetch a preferred resource and after X large monsters slain they return with a few resources from the targeted node.

2. Auto-kick on non-ready; this is a pretty small one but there have been a few times where 4 players are in the lobby and only 1 isn't readying (afk or not paying attention). Really wish the game would give a 10-15 second timer for the person when they are the only one not ready.

3. Please add a training dummy; several of my friends and family that have tried the game primarily complain that the combat is too simple and think "tap tap tap" is all there is. Give players a way to practice weapons without risking their precious potions or worrying about scaling. Most of my spawns are 6-8 rank making most crafted weapons ineffective against them. IE: I have tried the bow and it feels extremely weak and I can't tell if I am using it wrong, if it's gear dependent or if the crafted bow is too weak for the monster rank and it makes me adverse to investing precious resources to find out.

I'm HR 220 or something, and I'd say my top 3 pain points are..

Top Priority is Game Performance - It's still pretty bad compared to what it should be, I've seen how the game runs on apple and it's night and day.
1) Inventory management feels really bad, let us set caps on certain items, or make all white monster parts generic, so we only have to carry 1 piece of white material for armor and weapons.
2) armor and weapon refinement parts are counter intuitive - the demand is insane end game, and will time gate you if you play a couple armor sets.
3) no incentive to kill 9* 10* monsters
Give an option for a quick reward screen skip, so it loads quickly... Allow group paintball QOL so you can queue into the next paintball quickly, somehow like a build your own HAT interface.. It's really annoying maaging inventory with 4 people while doing 30-40 hunts.

1. Ability to grind for in game currency to buy upgrades like item boxes.
2. A way to see or communicate in game to alert and hunt with friends.
3. Cheaper everything, this is a joke. I'de pay for stuff like I do in some other games but the prices (for me at least are a joke). Maybe the ability to buy a limited amount of health per day for zenny's, that way I could go out and still suck while covering a larger area.

I have a total of like 5k people in my town/village. So... like pokemon I never find people to play with. That's why I like MHN and keep playing it. I would love to see a way to know if there are hunters around me and to contact them somehow (in a safe way) to play with them. But I don't think there are too many hunters around and where I live people don't even know about the game.

My 3 points are:

- Don't monitize potions, say we can "buy" them with Zenny, but a 50 pack or more is monitized, you could also monetize Mega Potions and Lifepowders, but make regular Potions obtainable by Zenny.

- Add a "Field Horn" to attract Monsters in your location for a certain amount of time, make them spawn in your inner circle even when stationary and double the spawns as you walk (Like Scents in Jurassic World Alive), also don't monetize these, the more we can hunt the more we play, the more we play the more we're willing to spend.

- This one is 2 in 1: Make Dimensional Rifts work like they did before, but add Hunt-a-thons to work the same way until a certain distance. The second part is to once a day, your hunter can move on the map while dragging two fingers (two so it recognizes that the player in intentionally moving the hunter) so that those players that can't leave their location for safety reasons, can still enjoy the game without waiting an hour or so for respawns.

Something I love about Jurassic World Alive is their drone mechanic, the inner circle (roughly the same size as the one in MHN) is used only for items in the map, there's an outer circle that is huge enough to enjoy the game indoors. It's great to go outside if you live somewhere that it's viable, but I manage to do more on Jurassic due to routine/not safe to go outside than on Monster Hunter Now. If they adapt that drone mechanic with a Cahoot that you can see flying in your map, not only will it expand the hunts someone can do (and with that, enjoy the game more/be willing to support Niantic financially) but it'll encourage those like me that can't afford to go out and hunt unless I'm on my way to work/home

1. Adjust hunt-a-thons to start at least an hour earlier.
2. If you don't give us the range back on Dimensional Links, include all the new exciting monsters in the game in the Dimensional Links too (example: Mizutsune, Deviljoe, etc at the current time).
3. Limited pre-witten messages or pings in the group hunt waiting area that would allow you to send one of 2 messages to a player once by tapping an option for each player saying "Let's go!" and "Check your weapon please."

2: An afordable live event
3: Everyone is gonna say the samething & it's the dimensional links distance. I work mornings & have to skip breakfast to get to work on time. Being able to hunt with others after getting home & eating/recovering is/was very fun & useful

I have a couple non-dimensional link pain points. HR161 been playing since launch. 1. I would love to have more loadout slots. I'm trying to build out bows and LS and there just simply aren't enough spots. 2. An option to scroll faster through gear would be great. Just a bar you could grab on the right side of the screen would help...this is something that is just going to become a bigger issue as more gear is released, especially when trying to browse through layered armor.

1. Allow parties to queue up together in HaT and other Online Co-Op modes.
2. Create a method to break down weapons and armor that are no longer needed to get some of the materials back.
3. Add additional things to the paid membership or make a higher premium that extends the range or allows players to get additional First-Aid Meds daily.
