You know a rapper is a legend when his song makes you cry. It's rare for hiphop to make you feel really strong emotion

At his best, Pac was operating on a different level. Most people never understood how his Thug Life persona was a device for reaching disaffected youth who are used to being preached to, and who reflexively tune it out. This poetry, what real fans call Reality Rap, can be heard in other songs of his. Check out his catalogue. More 90s Reality Rap: Geto Boys "My Mind's Playing Tricks On Me"; Too Short "The Ghetto", and Naughty By Nature "Everything's Gonna Be Alright".

I am 50 years old, and I listened to this for the first time perhaps in 20 years . And I shedded a few tears as well . Not only because how beautifully tragic this is, but also I remember when Tupac was alive, his energy and vibes . I remember how his music made the world feel . I appreciate you taking the time to educate and enjoy the vast riches in ol head shit ☺

The reason why pac
Made this song because
He saw the article in the
Newspaper then he kept
Seeing that the news was
Not making it a story on
How young girl deal with
This on a everyday struggle
So pac said let me show yes
This is what my young sisters
Went through then and now
Good video I see that it touch
Your💖 as well as your soul
Some women make life mistakes
But sometimes u have to deal with
It and mentally come out on the
Winner

Memories of 1991'' i was 15 years old And i remember Buying this album when it 1st came out In the fall of 1991'' And everytime i played this song it always made me feel sad, And this was before the video came out. I always painted the image in my mind listening to this song on cassette tape. The Only videos 2 pac had for this album was If My Homies Call, And Brenda's Got a Baby. And Its funny a lot of people outside of the Underground Hip Hop Community didn't even know who 2 pac was at that time until He starred in the 1993'' movie Poetic Justice with Janet Jackson.

I was 12 years old when this song came out. I memorized it from start to finish.

30 years later, the lyrics still brings tears to my eyes.
