Consciousness is not an "illusion." Expressions OF Consciousness, are transient, and impermanent, and from this perspective, an "illusion." Matter, moves in, and out of manifestation. Shiva Nataraja, beautifully illustrates the principle.

Thank you very much for sharing your wisdom and thanks to everyone who helps to deliver wisdom to all of us. I feel like I receive a lot everytime I listen. It is almost like a magical click that happens in my perspective that shifts little by little everytime I listen and grasp something. However, at the same time, I cant stop trying to understand how listenning and reading wisdom with our minds helps to awakening. At the end, isnt it still the mind listening and trying to make sense of all. I am aware of many emails you may be receiving and you may not be able to answer. I am happy either way as feeling that it is helping is enough. I appreciate your and your team's efford.

I had been having a problem with the metaphor of the screen, for sometime, ever since it was applied to prove that matter does not exist outside of perception. It was as if the metaphor was an optical iillusion that stopped working for me, as all optical illusions do, they only work intermittently. Rupert also made a reference to the 'conditioning by science' and that riled up the scientist in me, and it was a discordant experience. Here, the metaphor fell back into place, and I feel like I have come home again to the

I love Rupert and so thankful for all of his efforts, however, in this video (as in others) he explains that the only reality of a "sound" is our hearing of it. But actually, sound is a wave. So, if we hit the desk with an object it produces a "wave". THAT IS ITS REALITY. Whether I am here to hear it or not does not affect its reality in any way. It is only because there's a body with the ability to covert sound waves to something we can be aware of. However, whether there is a mechanism present to hear the sound, or not, the sound (waves) takes place. In addition, when he says that the sound wave "appears" to be 15 feet away, but in reality it has no distance because its reality is only the awareness of the hearing of it, this is also incorrect. The sound WAVE is created 15 feet away and travels in all directions available to be received by any device (such as the ears), regardless of whether there is a receiver available to hear it or not.

This is the game over question!

Night sleep is an illusion, mind is the reality. This can only be seen after waking up. But then next to see is that mind is also an illusion, awareness is the reality. This was not able to recognize during night sleep! So as mind is not the ultimate reality of night sleep it is also possible that awareness is not the ultimate reality of life, it just seems so in the first step.

Or in other words: as everything is a coloration inside the self aware screen of awarness, who build this screen, why and when ;-)?

Mind will never ever be able to understand the whole picture...

Rupert Spira has said in a previous talk, (if I remember correctly and understood correctly)that pure consciousness, if infinite, does not need to "know" the finite, or be the finite to experience itself, because it just IS. Then just being aware of the reality and not the illusion, still confines the finite from supreme being does it not?😻🤗🧚

I'm starting to be able to word the the things I disagree with in your talks. For example: you say that the sound obviously takes place at 0 distance from yourself and consists of the experience of hearing. But in my experience (and I'm almost certain everyone else's), the experience of determining/im agining the source of the sound in the world is intimately tied with the experience of hearing; they aren't seperate; they act as one. Cognitive science backs this up (among many, many other things), which makes it an extremely useful bucket of explanatory power.

Consciousness cannot be an illusion because to have the illusion of being conscious is being conscious.
