Google Slides is extremely helpful in creating great presentations.
You can easily present information and add in photos, charts and others.
One way to keep your presentation interesting and engaging is by adding simple transitions and animations. One of those is making texts appear one by one. It may sound complicated but it's quite easy to do! Here's how.

I've got such a difficult work week this week, and the kindness in this narrator's voice made me want to shed a tear 😅

You can also use the "By paragraph" feature to have individual paragraphs appear in a sequence.

Thank you! This was what I have been wondering how to do, and you explain it simply and well!

Thank you so so much for this, I really needed it and the other tutorials weren't very helpful.

I'm working with a single paragraph, and I want each of the sentences (new lines) to fade-in on-click. I can't seem to do this, and I'm concerned that I'll need to create 10 paragraphs, one for each sentence. This seems onerous, and I'm probably missing something easy... (PowerPoint did this easily.)

Where/How can I have [a] multiple boxes with text and cover them with [b] other boxes (think Family Fued) but animate each box [b] to disappear when using the On Click option? Or is there another way to achieve this goal in Google Slides. Can do it in PowerPoint but cannot or not allowed to use that program for this project. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Omg...this is going to make putting together my presentation 3 times longer...I have uploaded a Microsoft PPT into Google slides and to be able to choose which lines to animate I have to cut the lines, insert text boxes, and paste the lines into those text boxes? Wow...why is Google making this so hard? And FYI - just the fact that a tutorial had to be created to show how to animate simple line by line says it all...Google slides - not very intuitive

I just figured out how to do it – by pressing "Enter" after each line. This way, Google Slides treats each line as a separate paragraph and reveals the animation line by line. :)
