Honestly this looks much better than the original bassist. Can tell by right hand he really hits every string perfectly, and u can relate with the sound that came out of it. Saw the original bassist video, most of them he cant even hit the strings right, and if you play bass yourselves u will know it will sound awful. Good thing the original bass sound always lost in the mix, whether studio or live version.

That being sad, mad respect for this excellent cover!

I think it’s a failed opportunity to add groove into the music instead of just doubling guitar with bass shred. It would sound the same with if not tighter if the guitar split into a clean pitch shifted one octave lower into a bass amp.
