I’ve own multiple pizza shops throughout New York City for 13 years now so I can tell you if you’ve been ripped off or not from buying pizza. $100 for that pizza sounds about right. For all that amount of chicken you’re getting for them to make up that entire pizza crust like that is probably costing them about $50-$60 alone just for the chicken part of the pizza. Sauces and everything else probably ran them about a good $20 or $30 more if it’s high quality ingredients that they are using. A really good pizza sauce can cost upwards of $40 or more. Especially if they are making their sauce in house. Chicken is extremely expensive right now due to inflation.
