Показать описание
This is a video to show off what the Corsair Crystal Series 680x looks like with QL120 fans installed. During this video I'll show you what I did to remove the original LL120 fans I had installed and swap them out with Corsair's QL120 RGB Fans instead.

The specs of the build include:

Motherboard - MSI Meg X299 Creation
CPU - Intel Core i9-9980XE (socket LGA2066)
Case - Corsair Crystal Series 680X RGB ATX High Airflow Case (white)
RAM - Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 64GB RGB 3000MHz
CPU cooling - Corsair H100i RGB Pro XT AIO liquid cooler
M.2 NVMe drives - Samsung 970 Evo and WD_Black SN750
HDD - Toshiba 6TB high-performance hard disk drive
SSD - Samsung Evo 860 Pro SSD 1TB
PSU - Corsair RM850x 850 Watt modular power supply
GPU - Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti
FANS - 8 x QL120 RGB Fans

FYI - I used the Commander Pro and two lighting node cores to get the fans working.

There are now QL120 White, they may complete the style of the build. Great Video

Thank you for showcasing the hardware necessary to run all 8 fans. Been thinking about transferring my build from the obsidian carbide to this case, and was wondering what would be required to add two additional fans. Thank you so much.

I have 8x LL120s in my 680x with the bottom 2 as intake (along with the 3 front fans) still looks good and the fronts of the bottom 2 reflect off the desk under the case.

Definitely think I'll be getting the QL 120s, at least once they've got the white version. Got the white 680x. Very informative video. Subbed :)

Hello mate.

I have 8 fans like yourself, same case - Though I have x2 RGB hubs and x1 Commander pro. I have 6 RGB fans in one RGB hub and two fans in the other.

On the second RGB hub I have the last two fans RGB cables plugged in. The LEDS are not lighting up. Do I need to confiugre these in icue and tell the software what I'm running to recognise them? Haven't tried yet, currently installing windows etc.

Cheers

Thank you for the video! I have the same case just in black and I’ve been looking how to cable manage and set my fans right. And where to place the commander pro and the hub placement is great! Thank you!

It looks nice but, it would've looked and performed better if u put ql140 fans and a 280mm radiator AIO on top

Hello! Thanks for the video 👍🏻
I have two questions:
First, do we absolutely have to get the commander pro + 2x RGB hub to be able to make all of them work? I Currently can make the 3 fans in front and my Corsair H100i work in RGB with my mother board only. The one in the back and the two at the bottom are not RGB. I am willing to change all of them except the AIO one’s by the QL and I have already bought one RGB HUB but that’s it. Will it be enough?
Second question: i would like to put 3 QL 140 in the bottom and the back and 3 Ql120 in the front. Is it possible to mix the sizes?
Thank you very much in advance and keep up the amazing work mate 👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks for your reply on your other video, but now you got me puzzled even more. You now use two Lightning Node Cores + one Commander Pro? Why isn't the Commander Pro enough?

Everything says the QL's look awesome but on video the leds look like they bleed quite a bit. It bugs me, is it just on video?

Great vid again. The fans look amazing. Just wanted to ask

your opinion with top mounting a 280mm aio cooler. Is that ok? It’s just I’ve
read a lot recently about people preferring a 360mm on the front.

Exhaust bottom fans and intake top ones(across the radiator!) 😅 hmmm any benchmarks on the air flow or temps? I'm very curious pls.

I have a 465x but Im building a new PC, I've been thinking of the 5000T/5000x v/s 680x, temperature wise, do you think the 5000 are better? I like in the 680x you can set up bottom fans and a 140mm in the back

Hi, just watched your LL 011D XL build...nice. Quick question about the 680X. Is it possible to have a veritcal mount 360 rad( H150i Pro XT) behinfd the LL120's then put so QL120(so push pull) and still have enough space for a 2080fe? Looks like it'll be very tight. Otherwise I might opt for the 5000X. a bit more space by the look

Is it possible to get RGB on a single QL fan without a node or commander pro? My mobo has an ARGB and regular RGB header... Currently my fan is spinning but i am not getting any lighting to it. Thanks for the help and keep up the amazing videos!
