I've never heard of Noah Gunderson. I was browsing YouTube and came across this video. Round Here is one of my favorite songs so I checked it out, and omg! He fucking killed it. It was one of those performances that sent chills down my spine. Probably one of the best versions I've heard. I'm now a fan.

Rare to see someone cover a song and you can feel the reverence and passion for the original. Round Here is such a powerful song backed by one of the most unique and powerful voices of my generations. This cover certainly did both of those justice. Outstanding.

The audience doesn’t know what to make of this. Little do they know that they are witnessing one of the best live covers of all time. Unreal.

Wow. "This is the song that made me want to write music." A amazing testament to the brilliance of Adam Duritz.

Adam crafted a masterpiece with Round Here, and Noah captured that essence so beautifully. I don't think I've ever witnessed a cover that was handled with such reverence.... I'm at a loss for words....

Noah. My wife and I saw you live, years ago before we had ever heard one of your albums. We turned to look at each other at the same time and we knew that we had just discovered something special. Been fans ever since. This performance was everything that made us fall in love with you. I'm crying. Thank you.

This was my late wife's favorite song. We met in 1995 because she heard it playing in my old Beetle and she wanted to hear it better. I can't stop listening to this young man's rendition of it. Wifey's been gone for seven years, and hearing this song still makes me cry - every time. Thank you to Mr. Gundersen for your passion and fidelity to the meaning and feel of this perfect song!

August And Everything After was such a huge part of my teenage experience. I’ve known every lyric since it entered into my ears, heart, and soul in ‘93 and I expect I’ll be able to recite it on my deathbed. It’s one of those songs and albums that immediately transports you back. For me, it sends me back to the best years of my life. The innocent and carefree years of eternal summers. Noah knocks this out of the park, and then some. I feel like I’ve been given a gift. Thank you.

This is my first ever comment about a song in YouTube, am not going to say much. This was the greatest performance in a cover song i've ever heard.

....wha?...I?...I am glad I got to experience this one. He wasn't singing this song, he lived this song and shared it with everyone that was willing to listen.

Good God. How have I slept on this dude? My cousins told me about him and now I need to dive in. BARELY ANY songwriters have this dudes passion, you can see it almost the entire video he’s fighting back tears as he’s singing. NOW THAT is a real musician and songwriter, none of this processed radio garbage. Fantastic cover and easily the best version of this song. BRAVO NOAH.

You can tell he wasn’t kidding about this song being the reason he started music. Just so much emotion. Excellent work

This is how music should be sung.
Absolutely spellbinding.

Thank you for that very beautiful and emotional reminder that some bands of that era were epically poetic.

Great version. Counting Crows are so underrated. One of the best bands of the 90s, 00's, 10's, 20's and beyond. Timeless.

One of the greatest lyrics in history: “She walks along the edge of where the ocean meets the land just like she’s walking’ on a wire in a circus.”

Jesus... what a powerful performance! The lead man pours his heart and soul into the music. The audience looks absolutely transfixed. I am sure it was an unforgettable experience watching this live. Also, huge props to the sound guy. This recording is so well mixed. Totally blown away.

I have never seen so much emotion and conviction in a performance in my life. Had me in actual tears. I'm a 43 year old man!!
