Yes, the Doona is expensive, but that's the good thing about a registry especially ones like Amazon where you can do group gifting.

Thank you for mentioning the Doona height issue! Also the Doona is not approved in Canada, which has stricter safety standards than the US. I am trying to verify safety is the actual reason.

We plan on doing your pack and play method with our little one. We are limited on space and already have a twin bed for when it needs a real bed.

I have the elvie and yes, there are some inconveniences, but overall it is SO WORTH IT!
We also have the Nanit and LOVE it!!

The troller ... When you have to climb one or two floors... The weight of the thing is important

I think the Doona is also great for people who live in cities, who maybe don’t have a car, but take Uber or Lyft. I’ve also heard people say they like it for situations where baby is riding in the grandparents or a nanny’s car, since it doesn’t need a car seat base and the stroller is built in. I don’t have one, but have friends who went this route and like that it was a solution for particular situations where a traditional car seat didn’t make sense.

‘If I had another baby...’
Mmm, yes, yes...is that a possibility? 🧐🤪 a little Mai running around would be awesome, maybe? 👧🏻😅

We had friends swear by the snoo, so we got one last year. Our baby came a month early however and had reflux. The snoo’s leg extensions were always out of stock, so we ended up using large tuna cans under the snoo to elevate it. Didn’t help. Our snoo became an expensive laundry basket. We bought another bassinet that hooked to our bed and that worked out better.

We were gifted the Doona as first time parents and it is fantastic! It makes everything so much easier. Only downside we can see is our baby is long and will probably grow out of it before he hits the weight limit.

We also have the owlet and have never taken it out of the box. We just use a WiFi free camera and watch our little guy.

When I was researching double strollers when I was pregnant with my twins your video about the city select double stroller made us decide to get it! We found it used on Craigslist 🙌🏼

We rented the Snoo and absolutely loved it. It was a lifesaver! I wouldn’t pay $1, 500 for it, but we rented it for $200 and it was the best money we spent.

For hands free pumps the MomCozy is basically same as the Elvie but only costs $60 vs the $500 Elvie price tag

Got the Doona for my 5th baby and my only regret is not having gotten it for all! It is amazing! It's seriously saving my back this time around. I LOVE Definitely worth it!!

We had our little one this January and he had a colicky period when he was around 2 months. My husband wanted me to get the SNOO but frugal me refused to spend that much $$$ on something we would only use a couple of months. Well, he starting sleeping through the night at 2.5 months and puts himself to sleep at night now. Totally understand parents if they want to rent a few months to help them get through truly colicky babies but I just cant justify the price.

We love the snoo. We got it at 6 weeks and I think it’s worth it. I also really like that the snoo sack secures him on his back as he was rolling on his side before. We had a halo before. I have a willow and hate it, it’s huge and very uncomfortable.

I have a Wonderfold W4S 2.0 and it's been the BEST thing I've ever purchased. And, I typically buy everything used because I'm cheap. But, I splurged on this and I'm so freaking happy with it.

I just have so many concerns with the Snoo/Happiest Baby philosophy. Babies wake up to feed in the night. By instantly rocking them back to sleep, the Snoo contributes to underfeeding and improper weight gain. Idk, any machine that is built to replace the care provided by the parent concerns me.

Also, the AAP and WHO recommend room sharing for at least the first year. I think a bedside bassinet is just a much better option than all of these high tech babysitters.

I've heard that many mom's get so annoyed with the false alarms from the Owlet that they just turn it off. And then if there's a real emergency, you have no idea.

Again, I just think the best option is for parents to sleep near their kids and respond when they try to communicate via crying. In an ideal world, parents would have 1 year parental leave so that they can do this. I get that not everyone has access to that, which is where these devices get their market. I just don't think they are the best possible option for baby.

I think I’ve found you from your baby registry video! My little beans 7 months old now :p I wish I would have listened to you and didn’t buy the crib! Or at least didn’t put it together yet bc it is a 4 in 1, and it’s just taking up space in her small room. I like the Doona but it is a hefty price tag since I got a whole travel system from Graco for around $200.
