The most QUIET Roman Amphitheatre in Italica, Seville

I travelled to an amazing Roman Amphitheatre in Italica, Seville, Spain. It was much quieter than the Colosseum, and I feel equally impressive, it also has the added benefit of a town right next to it you can explore!

Remarkable how these places look similar. We were in Rome, Greece and Turkey this past October and saw the Colosseum in Rome as well as the amphitheater in Ephesus Turkey (where Apostle Paul preached) and they had uncovered many similar shops and communal toilets.

slight correction, roman gladiators weren't actually made to fight "to the death"; it was rather expensive to buy, house, feed, clothe, and train a gladiator, so they were more so meant to battle until one person won, which just meant wounding the other person. Interestingly enough, the Romans had a rather advanced knowledge on how to treat and heal wounds because they were always patching up gladiators!

By the way...
A little misc tip.
On the Gladiator film, it was supposed that the main character, was from near Italica or the near Extremadura region!
How cool is that!
