Pink Floyd have created so many amazing tracks, so many works of absolute genius, but in my humble opinion, this is one of the most beautiful songs ever created. It may not have the epic guitar solo of Comfortably Numb, or the vocal power of The great gig in the sky, but from the very first haunting note of the guitar, it grabs your soul and proceeds to gently rip it apart. Gilmore's smooth voice, the lyrics, the guitar, the progression... everything just flows so beautifully.

Pink floyd is the BEST. there will never be another band that come close. I was fortunate enough to see this concert in 94, and have never seen a stage like that. Huge and epic. 10a all across the board. Lighting, sound quality and level, and the fans are all the best ive ever seen.

The beginning solo you can close your eyes and be in the dark and it sounds cosmic; starts out slow and then gets faster and confident, like coming back to life, overcoming a bad situation perhaps. It’s like you made it through something rough! Excellent choice, always has been my fave Pink Floyd song!

Glad to see other generations enjoying the music i grew up on. Golmour is my #1 music artist. Another thing. When he retired even though hes back now.. he sold 120 of his guitars raising 25m$ all went to charity. His original black stratocaster sold for a world record of almost 4m$.
