Cycling is safe, the public are dangerous.

Even the most thorough precautions cant stop the impatient or oblivious members of the public from putting themselves in harms way.

The problem is that the public expect a cyclist to be travelling at 15-20mph, whereas these guys are often travelling at 30-40mph or 50-70mph downhill.

No racing or speeding should be permitted on public roads, racing should only be on race tracks
