This is really inspiring! There is a patch of grass in my street that could be so much nicer with a few plants and seats

Best tactical urbanism video I've ever seen.

I iifnd the "temporarily" and "cheaply" parts really important, as in some cities I know really well (cough cough Barcelona cough cough) we've got places that have had tactical urbanism for almost a decade now. Mix that with bad maintenance and...

Your videos might be simple, but they're sweet! Keep going! Maybe some videos get less views than others, but your last video got 127K views 12 days! Urbanism is a hot topic right now! Your channel will become big one day!

Those are great examples! Love the idea of parklets, they make streets look more vibrant.

3:22 My city set up a temporary roundabout like this with concrete barriers on some pretty important intersection about 13 yeras ago I think. The problem is that they forgot to make a proper one since then.

After a long day of work or a long trip outside ur residential area. When u come to home u feel that it is the best place for u at that moment.
That defines that humans wherever we go need a place to feel home-like. Hence use of benches and greenery for rest and calm feeling.

This is a lovely and simple video. Did you take the Reclaiming Streets For People from the Cycling Professor?

When cars are more excluded from cities, that means old people ( I am 76, my mother 96 ) are kept out as well . We live 35 km from the city center in the suburbs ( Melbourne, Australia) . We can’t walk much, but I can drive. The inner city is getting more unfriendly to cars. Bike lanes with zero bikes on it. Speed limits, just to annoy you . Parking outrageous expensive, or nonexistent. In your video you see young people walking…sitting, enjoying themselves, but no elderly. The reason, the ELDERY CANNOT WALK. They stay home, because cars are excluded from the fun . My 96 year old mother can drive in a car, but can’t climb on a bus. The developments shown in the video are unfriendly for old people….
