This is a quick video demonstration on how I use Clip In hair extensions that I made to hide my thin bald edges and add extra volume to my natural hair. I have suffered from Traction Alopecia for many years now due to tight braids and weaves. I’m on a natural hair journey, trying different products and methods of how to wear my own natural hair with out feeling embarrassed and un comfortable!

Keep up the good work, I have very coarse hair, and don't know what to use, it's wavy when I wet it and laid it down. I have lost most of my crown, not bald, but about 1 inch is all I'm working with. Love your videos.

That looks REALLY good! I would never guess that wasn't your hair. Did you cut and style the hair or did it come that length?

Thank you for this video! I also suffer from alopecia. Did you make your clip-ins just to save money or to be able to control how heavy the clip-ins are? I don't want to do any further damage to my hair, which has always been a bit on the thin side.

Your hair loss does not look like it is due to alopecia. That really looks like PCOS. You will have to see an endocrinologist to do the proper testing. Please keep in mind your primary care physician can not all the proper testing you will need to make the correct diagnosis. PCOS affects Blacks and people of color more than Caucasian and Asian women. PCOS is when women ovaries does not regularly release eggs. If a women have high levels of male hormones in their body it will cause visible signs of facial hair and body (chest, back or buttock) hair that is not normal for women. Excessive weight gain (can gain weight easily), thinning hair and hair loss from the head. Another sign is oily skin or acne. You will have abnormal hormone levels and high levels of insulin. You will have insulin resistance. If a person is overweight or obese this will increase the amount of insulin in your body. When you hormones and insulin is off balance you lose you hair. You can lose your hair in the crown, edges and even lose the hair causing you to have cow licks like a man. It is hard to loss weight if you have PCOS but it can happen. You will have to lessen you calories a lot. Calorie intake should be between 500 to 800 a day. Low carb will help if done with this low calorie intake. Exercising will help. Eat very healthy. No breads or white foods. No starchy veggies. I am pretty much an expert on this because I have PCOS and it is hereditary.
