I hope this station commentator can reach out to this guest and say that the public is concerned about being taxed on every dollar, while ppl are 'living off' welfare. For example, IF a total of welfare benefits (housing, food, etc..but not medical) is 18k/yr Then WORKERS should not be taxed on their first 18k. As it is now we only get a 3k exemption. This is ridiculous. FURTHERMORE, health care expenses should be a write off .. not a percentage of payments but ALL of it, as that is money ppl didn't have for groceries or rent. I mean, really, there has to be something in place to encourage low AND middle income to work rather than getting now where by working and seeking welfare services instead, also part of the huge drug addiction problem which is costing the govt more.
Regarding healthcare, I had city employee coverage and those rates DOUBLED during Obamacare (to pay for the poor rather than State taxes paying Medicaid.. they kept taking the same taxes out of my pay BUT pay got cut to go to higher ins premiums). So why wouldn't employer insurance be affected again??

“I’ve learned in Congress it’s not necessarily Republicans and Democrats, conservatives and liberals. It’s those that do math and those that don’t.” Rep. David Schweikert March, 2013
