Funny, I feel the same way about Modern Renaissance. I was so obsessed to get and when I finally did, I was a little disappointed. Just like you, I looked at the palette and thought, "oh, it is pretty", but when I tried to create a look I never really felt happy with the results - many times the combination of colors ended up a little muddy on me. And I found the formula a little annoying, too much kick back and fall out. I decluttered it when I moved from Brazil to Japan. Today, my collection of eyeshadows consists on five Colourpop palettes. It is my favorite brand too, and probably the reason why I discovered your channel. From my least to my most favorite: Dream St, Double Entendre, Mar, Brown Sugar and Give it to me Straight. And I want to get Making Mauves and Going Coconuts, because I feel I have enough warm tones. Love your channel and have been subscribed for ages :)

I would love to see this look, today. You are my Colourpop Queen. I only got into eyeshadow 3 years ago, in a big way. Before, I just used single shadows and didn’t know what I was doing, really. Just used a few old MAC shadows. One of my first pallets was Give it to Me Straight and Double Entandre. I am a lot older too, probably old enough to be your mother, but watching Utube videos, I learned how to apply makeup, especially eye shadow. Late to the game, but still enjoying myself. I have a lot of High end brands but still love Colourpop and the good gold Milani pallets; Soft and a Sultry and Pure Passion. Keep up the good work and congrats 🎊🍾🎈🎉 again for 100k!!

Yay! Been waiting for you to do this tag! :D I thought I was the only one who thought the Wet'n'wild palettes to be lackluster.. glad I'm not the only one! and I totally get you for giving the Disney princess palette a holy grail status simply because of those few shades in there.. some shades are just irreplaceable! I used to go around searching for dupes of my favorite discontinued eyeshadow colours with the swatch of them on my skin lol. (lipsticks too) and I'd be super disappointed if what I find is only similar and not the exact same shade AND formula. so yeah I totally get you.

I was late on getting the MR and was very underwhelmed...I returned and bought again on sale to convince myself but it just did not work..looked muddy and dull...I had other palettes and singles that I enjoyed more so I'm sure that was part of it..fun tag & video..you are a pleasure to watch
