Apex Shadow Ho-Oh has been captured by most people and Lugis is coming in the future.. SO.. That leaves us the question of.. Is it worth to purify these shadows? Does the new ++ moves make them worth while to purify? Let’s find out !

The reason the PVP does not favor the shadow is that the + and ++ damage is the same as the regular sacred fire in PVP. The + and ++ is only higher damage in Gym and raids. Your graphic at 4:30 and 5:00 shows this.

I got a 13/13/13 apex ho oh so kinda had to purify it, plus it’s looks way cooler purified. Named it Hund-oh.

For me the animation of purified ho oh apex looks like a supernova while shadow apex looks like a galaxy 😄 ✨️

I feel like purified pokemon should be stronger against shadows than regular pokemon. Unless that is the case or something that I don't know of. Lol

Brandon tan did a video a little while ago where he compared 100% iv non shadows against 0% iv shadow Pokemon. the shadow Pokemon came out on top every time, so yes even if you have a shadow legendary with horrible iv's it is still stronger than even a 100% iv non shadow version of that pokemon

I'm still in two minds to purify mine or not. If I purify mine, it'll become a 100%, and have the cool visual effects, and cheaper to max out. But then I know that the shadow (mine is 14atk) is more powerful, but maybe a little less tanky in raids. So it's a tough decision. I'm leaning towards purifying it, but still using it as a 100%. But ahhhh I'm not sure lmaooo

Thanks Billy for info. Surprised you won't power up your apex shadow ho-oh seeing as theres not alot above it bar megas (which u can only have one of in raid battles) but each to their own. Gradually powering up mine over time and gonna second move with BB too. Looking forward to my lugia also 🤩

The reason PvPoke doesn't have the + or ++ on the special moves is because they are only buffed for PvE, for PvP they are the same as the normal ones

Since I got a 98 Apex Shadow Ho-Oh at 15/14/15, I'm definitely not going to purify it.

I’m a little confused here. Shadow Ho-Oh with SF+ is the number 3 fire type attacker behind only Mega Charizard Y and Shadow Entei for fire type attackers, but yet it’s not worth powering up to be a fire type attacker?

I'm still doing the 30 day part. I got my shadow Apex Ho-Oh. I got a 13/15/14. I purified my Ho-Oh and got a 100% If I get similar stats for the Lugia, anywhere between 13/13/13 and 15/15/15, I will purify it. The only time I will not be doing this is if it is a 100% shadow

I NEVER purify my shadows, Nor do I turn them into Hundos, unless I need a Mega. Shadows all day everyday baby!

wait, so... Lugia purified would be better for ML? then shadow? im thinking because i just got my apex lugia and its sits at 15-13-14, meaning if i purify it, it will become 100% 15-15-15.
so question is if its better as purifed apex then shadow apex?
