You should take the “permanently” out of the title of this video. You know it’s not permanent, but you still put it in there. That’s deceitful.

The only thing more annoying than the speed warning is "just like this", "What you wanna do", "just like that", "What you guys wanna go ahead and do now", "just like this" etc etc. This video was painful.

This isn't permanent. The annoying speed warning comes up again after each time you turn the car off and on again.

Yes very painful warning, probably wouldn't have brought the car if I had known. I spoke to the local dealer today and they mentioned that an update may be coming soon - But I wouldn't hold your breath

After latest OTA update, when you start the car, just hold and press the mode button for 3 sec and it will disable it.

Just tried this on a 2023 Kia Seltos (Australia) and it is not permanent. Have to do this procedure every time the ignition is cycled

in August 2024 kia released a new software update that can be used to disable that speed limit alarms from the button on the wheel

Apparently there are new laws coming in that will make new vehicles have this, my niece has a new BMW and it has it and it’s just as annoying as it is in my Seltos. I’ve learnt to just ignore it.

In theory, as of August 2024, all you need to do is press and hold the mute button on the steering wheel and this will disable the sound. But this does not work for me...

If you get a Kia Towbar you HAVE to disable about 10 things everytime you start your car. Speed warning does my head in but having to go throughout the settings to turn off all the warnings when towing is DIABOLICAL!!
