India Ink Wash Sketch with White Gel Pen (tutorial)

The tools I used were Dr. Ph. Martin's Bombay Black India Ink, Uniball Signo white gel pen and watercolour paper. The paper and ink you use are important. They will determine how patch your wash can look.

I like how you take your time to explain everything without omitting anything. I was just going to watch a few seconds thinking about watching the rest of the video later but watched it all :-D
I love using Indian Ink even though I've using Pentel brushes and as you said, it's more difficult to control water flow with those brushes.

Lol.. We had our very first GCSE assesment on our sketchbooks. The new GCSE grade is from 1-9, and people are given a starting grade (the teachers prediction on what you would get at the end of Year 11) Most people got a 3 or 4 but I got a 6 xD Probably bcs I showed some of my drawings to the :/ Nowww one of the pages of the sketchbook had to filled with colour theories. The teacher also asked to include some artists that use colour effectively. I immediately went home and took like 6 pics of your works and I sticked it onto my sletchbook. I also annotated them XDDD. I wanted to include many artists as possible so I wont disappoint my teacher xD

The teacher asked about you and I explained everything. She said your style is very unique, the colours are so vibrant and playful. I was like ikr xDDDD

Hiii. I've been using dr ph martins black star India ink in matte, and sometimes it comes out glossy in places? It really bothers me and I was wondering if you ever have the same problem and if there are ways to avoid it.

Hi Teoh, what brand of watercolour paper are you using? The texture looks great for CP.
