It is a common trait of Filipinos to invite and share their food to friends and neighbors and even strangers when there is an occasion. After the party celebrations, it is also very common that whatever left over foods from the place not consumed, the host or hostess will ask everybody to fix a doggy bag { food} for them to bring home. Very common.
