If you've ever seen the actual websites not much was lost when these went down. None of these were critical infrastructure sites.

Yep! No big deal if you’re only concern is the aviation industry, but I recently got word from a family friend that works in one of the largest SE region hospitals in the U.S. that they were hacked several days ago for an indefinite recovery time due to a $1M ransom required. Dr’s and nurses are currently using a generic filing system until resolved crippling inpatient/outpatient services. This picture is much bigger that just one industry.

Netrunners. It's probably Arasaka Corp. The US needs to set up a meeting with Hanako at Embers.

This is nuts isn't it? Just nuts. Airports all over the world might have to do the same to protect THEIR sites too.

So your saying that hackers smart enough to break into airport websites aren't smart enough to mask their location?

Seem legit. lol

a DDOS does not means they broke into the website, only that the service may be interrupted ... it's like pointing millions of computers to that website and hit refresh many times (in layman terms), they could be more sophisticated like the slow loris ddos attack but is just an interruption of service

WOW! Airport websites?! That's pretty pathetic. Tf even happened? Some tourists couldn't find where terminal 3 was? Lol, I didn't even realise people used airport websites.

I feel bad for every airport. Dulles Airport and every airport is getting this. I hope this doesn’t happen to other airports like Benito Juárez International Airport in Mexico City or Hamad International Airport in Doha or even Changi Airport in Singapore

Instead of spying on American parents who complain about the curriculum at school board meetings, how about focusing on protecting our computer systems infrastructure, and rebuilding the military....

Killnet is a very cool name for a hacker group. I'll give the Russians thumbs up for that.
