I'm so grateful that Neurological diseases are being looked into a lot more now. I hope this battle against Neurological diseases eventually comes to an end soon!

"One scientist said, well we will have to re-write the books" - continues talking...

come on d news at least say the guy who said this, you sound like my friend who randomly tells me "they" said the dino's died because they ate to much broccoli.

It may help to explain the placebo effect since the brain can "talk" directly to the immune system.

"Think scientists have anatomy and physiology all figured out!!?"
Me: no, actual-
"THINK AGAIN"

Being in the private health sector this is exciting news!, clients of mine might actually be able to walk, talk, think for themselves again, I'm speaking broadly and jumping ahead of anything actually working, but them scientists turn ideas we think outrageous and impossible into things we think we couldn't live without, we could rebuild lives with this.

This is so interesting because not only is it important for the development of knowledge about neurological diseases, but it's also very helpful for learning about autoimmune diseases and other "invisible diseases"! Maybe for those of us with chronic illnesses it's not our bodies which are misfunctioning. Maybe our bodies are doing exactly what they are being told to do. For example, my Crohn's disease. Crohn's is when the immune system attacks the good bacteria within the digestive system. Many treatments for Crohn's involve suppressing the immune system to reduce inflammation. But maybe it's more like a leaky pipe. Yes you have to clean up the water, but your house will continue to flood of you don't fix the leaky pipe at the source. Maybe our bodies are the water flooding in, it is an immediate problem that needs to be solved because it is causing damage but it's just going to keep flooding back with a vengeance until we fix the pipe, aka our brains. Maybe chronic illnesses are caused more by misfirings in our brains than misfunctions in our bodies. This would also explain why autoimmune diseases come in pairs. If the part of our brains which controls our autoimmune response is faulty, then it's going to be faulty all over the board, not just in our digestive tract, circulation, etc.

What's most interesting here is they are hoping they can see a mechanical link between neurological diseases and if that's the case they can reverse engineer the mechanical cause of why the diseases occur in the first place.

When my brain was drained with venous angioplasty for CCSVI, the improvements in many of my symptoms attributed to Multiple Sclerosis sent my EDSS (disability scale) from 6.5 down to 4.  This meant an incredible improvement in my quality of life, thanks to Dr. Zamboni's hypothesis which has now been clarified by this amazing discovery!

We had this figured out at least 5 years ago, though no one was paying attention.  Chronic cerebrospinal venous insufficiency has been a diagnosis almost never used but it was thought to be associated with multiple sclerosis and alzheimer's.

hi! can you make CC differently. if you upload the CC file with an empty line between phrases you will have more readable subtitles. now you have cut sentences.
