Sorting months according your financial year in Power BI

By default Power BI sorts months according to the calendar year. If your business financial year is not the same as the calendar year, then this technique will get your bar charts, slicers and other visualisations presenting your months in the correct order.

I'm having a hard time applying my Calendar Table to my other tables. For example, I have a table for services hours, but how do I apply my Calendar Table to my Service Hours table so that it sorts Services Hours by Fiscal Month?

So how would you handle "December 2018" and "December 2017" in your dataset? You would now how two months with period 12

PowerBi is not sorting months from January to December by default.

SSAS + Power BI are having MANY conflicts, sorting is one of them.... they might say "You know, we can sort Z/A but why is not possible A/Z. Very bad guys. The sorting necesity is something basic for a dashboard, how is posible that for so long they didn`t solve it. unbelievable
